The Dutch Parliament moves the ACTA dossier from the Economic Affairs committee to the Foreign Affairs committee. Sources within Parliament say the final ACTA draft (the EU position) will be determined in a EU Foreign Affairs Council. EU Foreign Affairs Ministers will have an informal meeting on September 10th and 11th. The Informal Meeting of Foreign Affairs ministers aims at allowing ministers to share thoughts about current problems concerning the European Union foreign policy freely and intensely. No agenda has been published yet. ACTA will not officially be on the agenda. Two days earlier, to prepare the Dutch position, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Dutch Parliament will discuss trade policy (Wednesday September 8th). These discussions may include the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement ACTA. Since the Dutch minister of Foreign Affairs is busy the minister of Economic Affairs will replace him. There will be no live stream available for the Dutch Committee meeting. Update: ACTA has been added to the agenda.
